The mission of the Community Care Clinic is to provide integrated health care to low-income persons in our community who do not have health insurance. Through disease prevention, continuity of care and active follow-up we promote the health and well-being of our community.

The Community Care Clinic was established by Dr. John Whitlock and Marian Peters as a free clinic in 2006 to respond to an unmet need of access to health care for those with no health insurance. It was operated entirely by volunteers until 2009 when a small staff was hired and hours were expanded to meet the demand.

Today the clinic provides care to over 1,000 individuals with chronic diseases. Integrated services at the clinic include behavioral health, neurology, gynecology, physical therapy, dermatology and chiropractics. With the addition of the satellite clinics at Sugar Grove and Hospitality House, we anticipate serving 1,400 patients through 7,000 visits during 2016.
