Join us as we work to raise awareness and funding for RISE (Relationships Intended for Self Sufficiency and Empowerment) of the High Country, an anti-poverty initiative of Hospitality House, that is helping individuals and families overcome poverty in Watauga County. Hospitality House offers much more than bed and bread. They are a place where self-worth is reclaimed, passion is rediscovered, and souls are redeemed.

Approximately 80% of homeless individuals only experience homelessness once. The services we provide, with the support of partnering agencies, help ensure that those who leave Hospitality House will have the resources to be self-sufficient.

Hospitality House continues to serve as the only 24-hour homeless shelter facility, outside of domestic violence facilities, for seven rural North Carolina mountain counties (Watuaga, Avery, Wilkes, Ashe, Alleghany, Mitchell, & Yancey).

Your Contributions are Critical!

We see success with the adults and children that we serve each and every day. Success that would not be possible without kind, caring, and generous patrons like you. Your contribution helps to ensure that the men, women and children of Hospitality House have the provisions of food, shelter, and supportive services needed to get back on their feet.
